Syrian regime: dealt with mercenaries’ attacks, accused them of transporting chemical missiles

Violations of the Russian-Turkish Armistice in the disarmed zones continue amid mutual accusations by the regime's forces and mercenary gangs of responsibility for the attacks.

The Syrian news agency SANA said , "The units of the Syrian army operating in the northern Hama have dealt with appropriate weapons against the attacks of terrorist gangs and attempts to infiltrate the military points that protect civilians in safe villages and towns."

It pointed out that a military unit of the regime forces stationed in al-Jubain village north of Mahreda city to deal with the attempt to infiltrate a "terrorist" gangs from Hesraya town towards its points and bombarded it with a barrage of missiles, which killed and wounded in their ranks.

The agency added, "on al-Zlin axis in the northern countryside, clashes took place after the movement of armed gangs, where the forces of the regime were able to achieve direct casualties among terrorist gangs that was moving between the olive groves south of Latamna city near the army points in an attempt to attack them and breach the lines of defense taken by the army on the outskirts of the demilitarized zone in Idlib. "

The agency pointed out "on the administrative border of the province of Idlib to the north-east of Latamna town a unit of the Syrian army bombed sites of armed gangs that spread in Murk city and its surroundings in response to repeated aggressions."

According to the agency, Jabhat al-Nusra mercenaries in Idlib "have deployed about 50 rockets equipped with toxic chemicals on several fronts and the session of several other terrorist organizations."

It is noteworthy that Turkey and Russia signed on September17 of this year an agreement to establish a demilitarized zone extends to a depth of 15-20 km in the provinces of Latakia, Hama, Idlib and Aleppo, and according to the terms of the agreement was supposed to withdraw heavy weapons from this region until 10 October ,the first was that the mercenaries would leave until the 15th of the same month, but the Turkish mercenaries present in the region did not implement the terms of the agreement.
