Rojava, Aleppo commemorated PKK's Foundation Anniversary

AL-HASAKAH

Thousands of people celebrated the anniversary of PKK founding, which was held in Qelet al-Selam Hall of al-Hasakah city.

The ceremony hall was decorated with photographs of the martyrs and the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan, as well as flags and symbols of the Martyrs' Families Council and PKK.

The ceremony started with holding a minute of silence. The administrator  Martyrs families Council, Rojda Ahmed, congratulated the anniversary of the establishment of PKK party and stressed that the birth of the party is considered a historical milestone for the peoples of the region.

After that, the Tolhildan Cultural and Art Band presented dance and lyrical performances amidst the interaction of the participants who danced and chanted slogans saluting Ocalan.

AL-DERBASIYA DISTRICT

In conjunction with the anniversary of PKK founding, hundreds of people from al-Darbasiya district in al-Hasakah canton held a celebration at the District Playground.

The playground was decorated with pictures of the leader of the Kurdish people, Abdullah Ocalan, in addition to the photographs of PKK martyrs.

The celebration began with holding a minute of silence, after which Baqi Ali spoke on behalf of Martyrs Families Council.

Ali congratulated in his speech the anniversary of the establishment of the party to all advocates of freedom and democracy in the world and the Kurdish people in general.

After that, Zilan Band performed many revolutionary songs, after that Hevi Band presented a presentation on the phenomenon of false rumors.

DÊRIK

Thousands of people from Dêrik commemorated  the 40th anniversary of PKK founding during a party held at the Martyr Bewer Center for the Youth.

The ceremony was attended by thousands of residents of Dêrik, where the youth center was decorated with pictures of Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan, the founders of the movement and the symbols and flags of the Kurdistan Liberation Movement.

The attendees held a minute of silence then the member of Martyrs Council , Heqi Ararat delivered a speech and said "we congratulate the PKK party and the leader  of the Kurdish people and comrades, martyrs and fighters on the fronts of the fighting. Heqi continued " the start of the PKK united the Kurdish people in the four parts.

He added "The ideology and philosophy of Ocalan spread throughout the world, despite the presence of the leader in the Imrali prison, but the peoples who claim freedom and rights are following his approach and philosophy, because the leader has struggled and continues to struggle for oppressed peoples."

After the end of the speeches, Kevne Şopî and (Beraem) Kulilkê Koçerat presented performances of folk dance.

The ceremony ended with the Kurdish songs by the celebrants and the Judy Band of the Dijla Center for Culture and Art in Dêrik.

TIRBESPIYÊ

Tirbespiyê Council and Kongra Star held a mass rally marking the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in the northern region of Rojava, attended by hundreds of residents of the region.

The ceremony began with delivering a speech by the Martyrs Families Council, delivered by the member of the Council Diruk Mulla Bashir, and commemorating the founding of the PKK on all the families of the martyrs and the leader of the democratic nation's philosophy, Abdullah Ocalan and he said, "What brings us together here today is all the components against the capitalist and national thought, our peoples for thousands of years, and ending the plots that are being waged against the components of our region. "

He added "there was a need for a free and democratic ideology that freed the natural societies and restored their luster and their original lives away from exploitation and repression, Ocalan's thought and philosophy were the best solution for all components in the Middle East."

After that, many musical and lyrical bands presented their performances.

QAMISHLO

In a spirit of high morale, thousands of people from Qamishlo celebrated the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the PKK, renewing the covenant of Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan and the martyrs of freedom to walk on their path until achieving the great victory of all peoples.

The celebration was attended by all the members of civil institutions and centers and thousands of people in their folkloric uniforms, including those with special needs chanting slogans, which saluted the resistance of the martyrs, called for the freedom of Ocalan.

The ceremonial Hall was decorated with pictures of fighters, pictures of the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan, flags of the PKK, YPG and YPJ.

The celebration began with holding a minute of silence, followed by a speech by the co-chair of the Martyrs' Families Foundation in al-Jazeera Hevi Seid who said, "On the 40th anniversary of the founding of the PKK, we congratulate the leader, the families of the martyrs and the Kurdish people."

She added "We have been defending our cause for 40 years and we are advancing thanks to the freedom fighters who are engaged in heroic struggle and resistance to this day, because the PKK is the new essence of humanity and represents the values ​​of free life and renewal of the fighting generation."

She concluded her speech by renewing the covenant of the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan and martyrs of freedom to follow their path until achieving the great victory of all peoples.

ALEPPO

The Democratic Society Movement(TEV-DEM) organized a celebration marking the anniversary of PKK founding in Afrin Hall in Shaqif area of Sheikh Maqsoud Neighborhood.

The hall was decorated with the images of the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan, and pictures of the martyrs of the Kurdistan Liberation Movement, and Kurdish symbols.

The celebration began with holding a minute of silence and was followed by speeches by the two administrators of (TEV-DEM), Sabri Afrin and Suad Hassan, their speeches began by congratulating the anniversary of PKK founding on the Kurdish people.

The speeches  pointed out that the day of the establishment of the PKK is a historic day in Kurdistan and thanks to the thought and philosophy of the international leader we have reached this historic day that we are going through in the north of Syria, and the speeches commemorated the PKK martyrs.

The speeches  pointed out that the PKK, which followed the leader of Ocalan, is fighting only for a free and democratic life for the Kurdish people only, but is leading the struggle for democracy and freedom for all the peoples of the Middle East. The Kurdish people lead the democratic revolution everywhere, where the ideology and philosophy of Abdullah Ocalan.

The speeches confirmed that the PKK was able to achieve great victories against the fascist aggression.

The ceremony ended with the revolutionary songs.

KOBANî

On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of PKK, the Revolutionary Youth Movement organized a celebration in Newruz Hall under the slogan "PKK is the people and the people are here, rise up to break the isolation, break fascism and liberate Kurdistan".

During the celebration, Ahmed Kobanî spoke on behalf of the Revolutionary Youth, who celebrated the 40th anniversary of the founding of the PKK and said "We as youth will stand up against the Turkish occupation and our land will not remain occupied."

Many other speeches were also delivered that congratulated the 40th anniversary of the founding of the PKK.

The celebration ended with revolutionary songs.
