The resistance of al-Sheikh Muqsoud neighborhood in Aleppo against the attacks of the mercenary groups over several years has embodied the principles of peoples' brotherhood and coexistence not only because the neighborhood includes the people of all the components, but because the forces (YPG, YPJ) that defend the neighborhood were an idol example on the unification of the components.

Hawar news agency met a number of YPG fighters in al-Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood of various components to talk about the reasons of joining the forces and their role in protecting the components of the neighborhood.

The fighter Aziz Sipan of the Arab component joined the ranks of YPG since the beginning of its formation in al-Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood. Sipan said, "During the crisis, many forces and factions have been formed, each of which has its own target according to the interests of the countries that support them without paying attention to the status of the people so we as young people chose to defend our areas so that we joined the ranks of YPG because we saw within them the true principles of freedom."

YPG collected all components

"The reason for my joining YPG is the thought that brings together all the components which motivated us to fight the mercenaries in one row," the fighter Khamgin Aleppo of a Christian component who joined YPG in 2014.

He added, "When the mercenaries entered the neighborhood, they threatened us by force of arms to come out because we were Christians. They wanted to create strife between us and the other components, and today, we are fighting together thanks to YPG."

With our solidarity, we won, al-Sheikh Maqsoud is an example

The fighter Kaniwar Aleppo, from Turkmen origins, joined the ranks of YPG from the beginning of its formation in Aleppo said, "YPG are the way of salvation from the Syrian crisis. With our solidarity, we triumph. The resistance of al-Sheikh Maqsoud is an example of the peoples' brotherhood and co-existence. We all stood in one front of the Intelligence Street and the 20th Street which witnessed the fierce fighting since the beginning of the crisis and we were taking care about each other."

Kaniwar Aleppo confirmed at the end of his speech that they will continue their march until the liberation of all components form the mercenaries and thwarting the schemes of the states conspiring on the fate of the components of the Syrian people.
