The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has revealed the Turkish authorities' plans to form sleeper cells within the areas protected by SDF, whose mission is to carry out bombing and assassinating operations.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has realized that the Turkish authorities are supervising the formation of sleeper cells within the areas protected by SDF in the east of the Euphrates.

In the details revealed by the Syrian Observatory, the Turkish authorities are establishing cells under the supervision of their intelligence, and they are consisted of the people of al-Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor cities, where they have been trained in secret training camps within the areas occupied by the "Euphrates Shield" mercenaries in Afrin and in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

Bombing and assassination operations are being implemented speedily and accurately, and sources confirmed that the process of forming cells and sending them to the areas of East Euphrates comes within Turkish intelligence's exploitation to the Syrians' ID known as "Kimlik"  which is delivered by the Syrian citizens when they leave the Turkish territory, heading towards any neighboring country.

Reliable sources have confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that tens of thousands of Syrians who have left Turkey in recent months and years, their personal ID extracted in Turkey have been kept and deposited with the Turkish records, while they are being used to pass these cells on the pretext of visiting their relatives. While these cells are carrying out assassinations of leading, military and political figures in addition to trying to create strife among the components within the area of East Euphrates.

The Syrian Observatory published on October 30, 2018 that the Turkish authorities and intelligence failed to create tribal strife in the countryside of al-Raqqa as 8 people from al-Hanadi clan attempted to create a sedition with the clan of al-Boassaf by kidnapping and insulting a member of the last clan in the name of al-Hanadi tribe in al-Buz area in the countryside of Tel Abyed. The Internal Security Forces arrested and interrogated them. The reliable sources confirmed that they admitted that they were sent by Turkey to create a tribal strife in an attempt to create chaos in the area.
