Shahoz Hassen: Turkish occupation attacks targeted will of people

The Democratic Union Party held a meeting in Serê Kaniyê city in al-Jazeera region to talk about the overall situation and recent developments in Syria, especially in areas of northern and eastern Syria.

The meeting, which was held in the Martyrs Hall in the city attended by dozens of people.

After holding a minute of silence, the co-chair  the Democratic Union Party, Shahoz Hassen, spoke about the overall developments on the Syrian arena in general. He pointed out that the Democratic Union Party committed to the third line approach regarding the Syrian crisis, stressing that the only way to resolve the Syrian crisis is dialogue and negotiations.

Hassen also addressed the attacks by the Turkish occupation state on the northern regions of Syria, pointing out that the Turkish state has not ceased to launch such attacks, and its main goal is to undermine the will of the peoples of the region.

Hassen stressed the need for all peoples and components of the region to unite to respond to these attacks.

On the issue of the Syrian crisis, Hassan stressed that the solution of the Syrian crisis must be at the hands of its children away from the interference of external forces. He also stressed that the fate of the Russian-Turkish agreement with regard to demilitarized zones is a failure, because this agreement was built according to temporary interests between the two sides and not according to the interests of the peoples of Syria.

Shahoz Hassen, also spoke about the struggle of the Democratic Union Party and stressed that the party continues its struggle against the martyrs.

He added  "We consider all members of the Martyrs Families Council, members of the Democratic Union Party(PYD), and this will contribute to building a strong and democratic party."

The meeting ended with slogans that saluted the resistance of Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan and glorified the martyrs.
