1st Academy for women opened in Aleppo

Kongra Star opened the 1st academy for training the women in Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in Aleppo city, the academy was named " Star For Science and Free Thought" and that was during ceremonies.

Dozens of women participated in Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in Aleppo at the opening ceremony of the first Academy of Kongra Star in the neighborhood, in the western part of the neighborhood.

The celebration began with holding a minute of silence followed by speeches by the administrators of the Training Committee at Kongra Star Haiva Haseen and Dalal Kano.

The speeches congratulated all the women of the neighborhood at the opening of the academy and emphasized the importance of training to enhance the role of women in society and at all aspects of life.

The speeches appealed to all women to join courses organized by the academy.

After the speeches were finished, the opening ribbon was cut by a number of martyrs' wives.

The Academy is scheduled to open training courses for neighborhood women of all components in order to raise their level of knowledge and qualify them to perform their duties in civil society institutions.
