Martyr Hergul Academy ended 1st training course in north of Syria

The Martyr Hergul Academy for Intellectual Training of the Academies of the Democratic Society in Rojava concluded a training course on behalf of the martyr Abu Hamza, in which 40 members of the civil councils and institutions participated in the areas of al-Raqqa, al-Tabqa, Deir ez-Zor and Darbasiya.

The course was named martyr Abu Hamza, who was martyred during his participation in the campaign to liberate al-Raqqa city. The course lasted two months, during which the trainees received an intellectual lesson on "the concept of democratic nation, federalism, manner and discourse, and Jineolojî."

The ceremony began with holding a minute of silence, then, the co-chair of the Çilaxa District Council Suhaila Shamo delivered speech in which she said, "This course proved its worth, and the approach of the democratic nation brings together all the peoples of northern Syria under one roof." As Suhaila Shamo hoped success for the graduates and transfer of what they learned to their areas.

The administrator at the Academy of Martyr Hergul Ilam Dêrik said," This course will serve as the cornerstone for the consolidation of the democratic nation concept," stressing the importance of training and said "we must eliminate masculine mentality and build a strong personality through training to set an example for society."

Moreover, the ceremony ended with a number of songs.
