After Xakûrk, mercenary Sabri Bûyînî in Nisibin

Two months ago, the Turkish state transferred more than 2,000 elements of Jabhat al-Nasra, led by Sabri Bûyînî, to Xakûrk area of southern Kurdistan region to fight against the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK). According to the information received, about 550 elements of Jabhat al-Nasra were transferred by the same person to Nisibin district of Merdin province in northern Kurdistan, and were stationed in the area adjacent to the borders of Qamishlo canton in northeastern Syria.

About 2 months ago, the Turkish state transferred a large number of Jabhat al-Nasra mercenaries led by Sabri Bûyînî, to the areas of southern Kurdistan to fight against the PKK and deployed in military bases of the Turkish army in the vicinity of Zakho district of Dihok.

After Turkish President Recap Tayyip Erdogan's announcement of the Turkish occupation's intention to launch a campaign against the northern and eastern regions of Syria, the Turkish occupation state began attacks on the border with Kobanî canton. Later, large numbers of gunmen and heavy weapons belonging to the Turkish army were deployed to Nisibin and Serê Kaniyê in northern Kurdistan. About 550 were Salafist mercenaries of Jabhat al-Nasr under the leading of Sabri Bûyînî.

The information quoted by "Dem News" about military officials in Nisibin, the mercenaries of Jabhat al-Nasra will be on the front lines in the event of any attack on Qamishlo. Military sources said that the 550 mercenaries were selected from about 2,000 mercenaries who had previously been transferred to Xakûrk area to fight the PKK. The sources also pointed out that the Turkish army intends to transfer a number of other mercenary extremists from the areas of Ezaz and Jarablos to Nisibin district.

Who is Sabri Bûyînî?

The military official of Jabhat al-Nasra Sabri Bûyînî was born in 1975 in Buwainah village of Halabja. He was previously the commander of the third military force of the Islamic Movement in Halabja. In 2003 he participated in planning a military operation against Patriotic Union of Kurdistan Asayiş on behalf of Ansar al-Islam. After their plan was revealed, he fled to Iran. After a while, he moved to Iraq to join al-Qaeda. After the appearance of IS mercenaries in Iraq, he joined IS and served as a forensic judge in the Anbar area. From there, he moved to Syria to join Jabhat al-Nasra.
