Manbij bid farewell 2 martyrs’ corpses of ISF, Jaish al-Thuwar

The residents of Manbij city bid farewell the corpses of the two martyrs Ali Eido Mahmoud, a member of the Internal Security Forces (ISF) and Mohammed al-Owaid, a fighter in the ranks of Jaish al-Thuwar who were martyred while they were performing their military duty to their last resting place.

Hundreds of people of Manbij and its villages gathered on Tuesday in front of al-Furat Hospital to receive the corpses of the two martyrs Ali Eido Mahmoud and Mohammed al-Owaid. The mourners headed with a solemn procession towards the Martyrs Cemetery.

The ceremony began with a military parade performed by the fighters of the Self-Defense Duty, and then, many speeches were delivered.

The co-chair of the Martyrs’ Families Council in Manbj Mahmoud al-Eido delivered a speech in which he offered condolences to the families of the martyrs and praised the struggle and sacrifices made by the martyrs, thanks to which the area was liberated from the mercenaries.

Then, the commander in the Internal Security Forces in Manbij Nejeeb al-Denden said, “We express condolences to ourselves and to the martyrs' families. From this holy place, we renew our pledge to our martyrs to follow their footsteps and deploy security and stability for our people and our city and to defeat all the mercenaries and their supporters.”

Then, a speech was delivered on behalf of Jaish al-Thuwar by the commander in Jaish al-Thuwar Delsher Idliby as he said, “The martyrs sacrificed their life to defend their honor and land, and we bow in tribute to the blood of the martyrs that watered the soil of this homeland, and we will follow their footsteps.”

Furthermore, each of the commander of Idlib Rebels Brigade Mahmoud Abu Khaled and the co-chair of the Legislative Council Farouk al-Mashi also consoled the families of the martyrs and Manbij people and stressed that thanks to the sacrifices of the martyrs, Manbij enjoys security and stability, promising the martyrs to not allow any side to destabilize the security of the area.

After the speeches finished, the member of the Martyrs’ Families Council Samar al-Jassem read the documents of the two martyrs and handed them over to their families. Then, the two martyrs were buried amid the trills of the mothers and chanting the slogans that glorify the martyrs.
