Al-Bab people revolted against Turkish mercenaries’ practices

The violations of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries continue in all the areas under its occupation whether in Afrin or al-Shahba areas and cities. That outraged the people of al-Bab area who held a demonstration against the Turkish occupation.

Local sources from al-Bag area stated that the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation army kidnapped a citizen from Akhterin district in al-Bab area. According to the sources, the civilian was hit, tortured and taken to an anonymous destination.

The sources assured that the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation army seized the agricultural lands and olives crop that belong to Kurdish families in Sheikh Jereh, Belikh, Kweiba, Sosenbat, Sodud, Burj, Kelbin and Numan in al-Bab area. Moreover, they tried to displace the native residents from the area.

The mercenaries also impose taxes reach 100,000 S.P on the families in the areas under their occupation.

To protest all these practices, the people of al-Bab area of various components revolted against the violations and the inhumane practices of the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation army in the area, demanding their withdrawal from their lands as the demonstrators flamed the fires in the plastic frames to pretest the mercenaries’ violations against them.

It is worth mentioning that the Turkish occupation army kidnapped hundreds of al-Shahba areas’ residents since its occupation of the area under false pretexts and it displaced hundreds of families, especially the Kurdish families that displaced to Kobanî, Afrin canton and al-Shahba liberated villages.

Since the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries’ occupation of Afrin canton, more than 2,350 civilians were kidnapped, the fate of 835 of them is still unknown and among them 139 women. They also seized more than 4,500 olive trees.
