Syrian Activists: proud of Autonomous Administration experience in North Syria, forum is guarantor for women

More than 200 rights activists from Syria, representatives of political parties, civil society organizations and women's organizations from the cities and areas of Syria met in the city of resistance Kobani as part of the launching of the first forum of women activists and Syrian women to discuss the laws of women in society in light of the crisis experienced by Syria.

In a special interview with ANHA correspondent, a number of activists stressed that the experience of Democratic Autonomous Administration in north and east of Syria is a pride for all women in Syria and the world.

Ambassador of Peace and Love of the World Peace Conference and the Global Prosperity Conference Jumana Kahil has considered all the women who participated in the forum as the ambassadors of peace in the Syrian geography. She confirmed "Our presence here is the biggest peace, Syrian women unite in this place, each of the women who participate in this forum are a ray of light spread throughout Syria with the presence of this kinds of women from all parts of Syria and have a high and good experience to reach to every woman in all parts of the world.

She added that the forum will be a message to all Syrian women to be able to achieve all that they want and preserve their rights in light of the suffering of the atmosphere of injustice and displacement, and most important to be the basis for Syrian families.

The Deputy Minister of the Syrian Women Council Ilham Issa said "We met today in the castle of resistance and steadfastness; Kobani from all parts of Syria and north and east of Syria and of all components to discuss several axes related to women and its role and conditions experienced during the ages of violence, murder and denial of rights.

"The forum opened the way to dialogue and discussion about what women had suffered, and most importantly, the achievements of women under the revolution of great achievements in all aspects of human rights, social, political, economic and military.

We can say that this forum is to determine the preservation of democratic administration laws (marriage, inheritance, custody, divorce, marriage rights of minors, polygamy, etc.). In this regard, we will be able to help women maintain laws and prove their abilities to prove their existence and achieve many gains that were exclusive to men only.

The coordinator of the Syrian Women's Council, Ilham Issa, in the end of her speech said that the topics discussed at the forum will be a distinct principle for each woman of the conventions and decisions relating to women.
