DAA handed Iraqi charged of belonging to Daesh to Iraqi Refugee Council

The ceremony was held at al-Hol refugee camp in eastern of al-Hasakah canton, in the presence of representatives of the Democratic Autonomous Administration and senior members of the Senate in al-Hasakah, the administration of the Iraqi Refugee Council in the camp, the family of the Iraqi released and leaders of the Syrian Democratic Forces.

At the ceremony, the co-chair of the Iraqi Refugee Council at al-Hol camp, Khader Saleh Al-Kuteb, thanked the autonomous administration and the military forces in North Syria and the eastern Syria for handing over the Iraqi who took the wrong path, hoping that this would be a lesson in his life and self-reform.

"We, as Iraqis, owe a lot to the Autonomous Administration to their national attitudes towards the Iraqi people when our paths narrowed in their home country," he said.

The detainee, Abdullah Abdul Hadi Kheder, from Zamar district of al-Mousel province, had two brothers killed in the ranks of ISIS in Iraq, while he surrendered to Syrian Democratic Forces in 2016 to be released recently after making sure his hands were not stained with the blood of civilians.

"Our principles of Autonomous Administration are to reform and organize the individual within society to play an effective role in serving his people," Majida Amin, a member of the council of al-Hasakah canton said.

Magda hoped that Abdullah would take the right path and spread what he had learned during his presence in Rojava.

After the handing of Abdullah to the Iraqi Refugee Council, which in turn would hand him over to his family.

It is noteworthy that the Public Relations Committee of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the initiative of Democratic Autonomous Administration has released 23 detainees accused of belonging to IS mercenaries, during the past two days.
