Hajin's displaced: Daesh planted mines so no one comes out, orgs do not assist

The movement of the people of Hajin town and its areas is still ongoing to flee heavily from IS mercenaries to the safe areas under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces.

In order to shelter the displaced, Deir ez-Zor's Civil Council opened a camp to provide assistance to the displaced. It set up an emergency point and opened a small room to treat displaced people and provide food for young children and infants.

The medical teams of the Kurdish Red Crescent are also helping emergency cases reach North Syria's hospitals, through ambulances in coordination with the Syrian Democratic Forces.

One of the displaced people who arrived at Iwa camp from Hajin town said, "The mines were planted everywhere so no one leaves the area. There are civilian corpses on the road because they came out of the area and the mines exploded at them"

"Since our arrival, no one has given us any help, except the fighters in the area who collect food and give it to us," he said.

He noted that some of the displaced are sick and have serious illnesses and are in urgent need of medical care.

At the end of his speech he appealed to the displaced to provide a corridor for those in the areas occupied by Daesh, and said, "There are about five thousand people, who are trapped inside the area of ​​al-Sousa, al-Shafa and Hajin, we hope to secure a way for them to get out."

Another displaced woman who arrived at the camp said that they had been trying to get out of the area for three months. "Those in the area cannot leave because of the mines planted everywhere, even in the streets"

The people of the occupied areas by IS mercenaries are witnessing a daily displacement, where the residents try to reach the areas liberated by the Syrian Democratic Forces on a daily basis, taking into account the dangers of the planted mines.
