People of Afrin: occupation unfairly takes over olive's season

As the olive picking season approaches in Afrin canton, the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries began to seize olive trees belonging to civilians handing over their production to the councils formed by the Turkish occupation. This was confirmed during the statement issued by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries in this regard.

In this regard, ANHA agency polled the views of a number of residents of Afrin, who live in al-Shahba canton, and said that the occupation is taking over the olive season of the people, expressing their denunciation, and categorical rejection of that.

Salah al-Din Bilal, a resident of Jinglia village in Rajo area, said that the Turkish occupation is taking over all their property. "He is now taking over the olive harvest and handing it over to the councils formed by the occupation

Salah pointed out that they had taken care of olives for decades, "and now the Turkish occupation is taking it over, this is unfair."

For her part, Maroush Rashid Kilkawi condemned the "conspiracy" carried out against Afrin, and condemned the countries that participated in the occupation of Afrin. "The actions that we see in Afrin are outside the framework of international ethics and the continued international silence is considered as legislation for such violations.

Maroush expressed her refusal of the seizing on the olive season by the Turkish occupation, calling on the international organizations to intervene.

For her part, Farida Omar said that the Turkish occupation army not only looted their homes, "but looted and seized the olive season," and confirmed that the occupation has cut 300 olive trees belonging to her.
