Health Body activated health center in Girkê Legê

QAMISHLO

The Health Committee of the Health Body in al-Jazeera region re-activated the health center located in Girkê Legê district in Qamishlo canton after maintaining and providing it with the medical staff.

The health center is consisted of three departments, including the obstetrics, gynecology and internal medicine department, an analytical laboratory and pharmacy, an ambulance department and a vaccination department. The medical staff that is consisted of 23 people will work on a daily basis from 8 am to 4 pm.

The ceremony was attended by dozens of residents of the district and representatives of the civil councils and institutions. After holding a minute of silence, the co-chair of Girkê Legê Council Mohammed Jamil Ismail delivered a speech, in which he congratulated the opening of the health center to the people of the district and considered it a step towards improving the health situation in the district.

Behzad Ahmed also delivered a speech on behalf of the Health Body in al-Jazeera region, in which he pointed to the body's efforts to provide health services to the people and to provide medical staff in health centers to reduce the spread of diseases and treat them.

Ahmed explained that they are working on the opening of health centers in all towns and districts in al-Jazeera region and indicated during his speech to provide the health centers with medical services to provide services and medicines free of charge to the people.

At the end of the ceremony, Shadia Ibrahim, the mother of the martyr Khebat cut the opening tape and the people toured inside the center.
