The People's Protection Units (YPG)refuted the reports promoted by Turkish media about the capture of 9 of its fighters in Afrin.

The People's Protection Units noted in a statement to ANHA agency and refuted that Turkish media which had reported the capture of nine of its fighters in Afrin.

A commander in YPG said, "Turkish media reports about the arrest of nine fighters of the Afrin People's Protection Units are unfounded, and the Turkish state is promoting such news for certain purposes."

YPG are scheduled to issue a public statement on the issue tomorrow.

Turkish media reported that the Turkish occupation army captured nine fighters of the People's Protection Units in Afrin.
