Cireh .... from greener area to barren area due to Turkey 's policies

Water is the basis of the existence of every person on the face of the earth. Therefore, since the beginning of the creation, humans have gathered near the waterways and springs for the abundance of pastures and the ease of securing water. And in particular the Kurdish people, who were resided  on the banks of the rivers and springs of Kurdistan, and continue to this day, despite all the colonial policies practiced against them by the colonial states and regimes, with the aim of annihilating it, melting it and occupying its land.

The hostile policies against the people of Kurdistan by the colonial countries did not stop for a moment, but the Kurdish people's heritage and originality prevented it from being destroyed. These practices are still ongoing, especially by the Turkish state, amidst regional and global silence and even organizations concerned with human rights and nature.

Turkey, which is hostile the Kurdish people is working  in full capacity and potential in the Kurdistan in general and in particular the Kurdish people in Bakur Kurdistan and  Roajav apart from the attacks by Turkey against the Kurdish people, Turkey followed policies far from human values ​​and ethics in recent times, (Kurdistan region) and the Kurdistan region of Kurdistan (south Kurdistan), cutting off all the rivers and springs that flow to Roava from the Bakur of Kurdistan, and building dams to prevent their access to Rojava areas , Causing desertification in most of their territory.

 Cireh  area was a destination for al-Jazzera region 's people....    but?

A good example of this is Cireh area belonging to Tirbespiyê district , located north of al-Jazzera region, which has completely dried up. Near the river dozens of villages have been built for several centuries, aims to benefit from the river. The region was distinguised  by planting rice, maize and vegetables on both sides of the river and also famous for the old mills, was a destination for all al-Jazzera region 's people  at the time, but stopped flowing after the Turkish racist policies.

Cutting water before entry Rojava ,causing massive damage to dozens of villages.

During the past years, the Turkish authorities have prevented the flow of river and spring water from the Bakur of Kurdistan to  Rojava through the construction of artificial dams. The river water has been diverted to industrial dams that have been set up to damage the nature of the area.

Dozens of villages were severely damaged by the Turkish authorities, especially the villages built on the banks of the river for several centuries, namely the villages of Kêl Hesnak, Kerdîmî banî, Xirabî Bodka, Ala Reşa, Oltuca, Nêr Deham, Mizgeft, Xezîmok, Dêrîcik, Kir Şêran is christian and Tirbespiyê district.

Sabri Ali Ahmed, one of the oldest at Cirah area who is at quarter-century-old ,said that the villagers were planting corn, rice and vegetables on the banks of the river, as well as building more than 20 mills along the river, Where these mills were a destination for al-Jazzera region 's people to grind their winter supplies and the most famous mills were Tho al-Aynan and Maraha.

In view of Cirah area  which consists of 12 villages, we now see the damage caused to them and turned after the interruption of flow of rivers and springs from the Bakur of Kurdistan to the barren area.
