Kurdish Red Crescent provided medicines to al-Kasra Hospital in Deir ez-Zor

The Kurdish Red Crescent provided a truck of medicines and medical equipment to the Health Committee of the Deir ez-Zor Civil Council in the third batch of aid.

After a study by the Health Committee and the Office of Humanitarian Affairs of Deir ez-Zor civil to secure the needs of hospitals in western and eastern of Deir ez-Zor and the preparation of lists of medicines and medical equipment and surgical sections of hospitals.

The Kurdish Red Crescent sent a truckload of medicines and medical equipment with a total capacity of 154 packages, which included "Serum bags, miscellaneous drugs, a medical device, a pressure gauge, simple surgical equipment, anti-inflammatories and painkillers, medical consumables."

In this context, the co-chair of Humanitarian Affairs Committee in Deir ez-Zor Civil Council, Tariq Al-Rashed, "We have today completed the third batch of medicines and medical equipment provided by the Kurdish Red Crescent, which is a truck loaded with 154 cartons of medicine containing medical and surgical equipment and medicines of all kinds."

For his part, Tariq Al-Rashed thanked the Red Crescent for the humanitarian aid .

It is noteworthy that that the Kurdish Red Crescent has already provided two trucks of medicines and this third batch within two months, where the first batch of chemical clothes which comes as part of a preventive plan and the second batch of medicines for the disease, "malaria" .

Since Deir ez-Zor countryside was liberated by the Syrian Democratic Forces from IS mercenaries, the Kurdish Red Crescent Organization has been trying despite its little resources to provide medical assistance to the people.
