Clashes erupted among Turkish mercenaries in Afrin

A source from Afrin canton told ANHA's correspondent that violent clashes broke out on Friday evening between the mercenaries of the so-called Ahrar al-Sharqiyah which includes mercenaries from al-Shetat clan of Deir ez-Zor and other mercenary gangs of the Turkish occupation army without knowing their names and the reasons of the clashes.

The source pointed out that the clashes focused on the street of al-Karama school near the headquarters of the so-called the Military Police. The mercenaries forced the residents to close all shops in the city and imposed a curfew. According to primary reports, the clashes led to killing 2 mercenaries and wounding 5 others from both sides. Moreover, loud explosions still heard in the center of the city without knowing the reasons of the clashes.

It is noteworthy that Afrin canton witnesses a lot of violations by the Turkish mercenaries; kidnapping, torturing and killing the civilians, looting and stealing the properties, burning the trees and others, in addition to the outbreak of clashes among the mercenaries themselves every once in a while because of the dispute over the sharing of the stolen goods.
