New council for Martyrs' Families Council elected in Sherawa

On Friday, dozens of martyrs’ families gathered in Bênê village of Sherawa district to attend the meeting held by the Martyrs’ Families Council for the election of new members of Sherawa District Council and also in preparation for the Martyrs' Families Conference.

The meeting began with holding a minute of silence, after which the administrator of Martyrs' Families Council Marwan Afrin talked about the latest developments on the Syrian arena and the international and internal agreements on the Syrian situation.

A discussion was then held on the administrative situation in the council by the attendees and the divan which was composed of 5 members.

At the end of the meeting, the new council which will represent sherawa district in the conference which is attended by the council was elected. The new council is consisted of 9 members from sherawa district during the elections held in the meeting.

Furthermore, the members of the new council renewed their pledge to follow the footsteps of their martyrs and work to achieve their goals and the aims of the society.
