The lectures began in al-Mansoura town southeast of al-Tabqa area. These lectures are a continuation of activity focused on the economic side.

Dozens of women from local institutions and councils participated in the lecture to raise their intellectual level and gradually eliminate the habits imposed by male society.

The lecture dealt with two axes, the first on competitive participatory life which is the basis of building the right democratic nation. The second axis focused on sexual intolerance as one of the most negative phenomena.

The lecture was delivered by the Deputy Spokeswoman on behalf of the Women's Committee in the Civil Democratic Administration by Juhayna Meso and the Director of Women's House in al-Mansoura Nasra Abaka.

After holding a minute of silence at the Women's House in al-Mansoura, Juhayna Meso highlighted the misperception of the participatory and equal life of men and women as a result of their misinterpretation of their role in society.

She added "Women are gradually being marginalized by the male society by applying cultural genocide to women."

For her part, the administrator in the Women's House Nasra Abaka highlighted the sexual intolerance and domination of the masculine mentality on women and their response to this intolerance in all domains of life and ways to get rid of this mentality.

At the end of the lecture, the lecturers discussed with women some of the problems that women face during their work and their lives within society.

The Women's Council is scheduled to hold similar lectures this week.
