Lailwa Al-Abdullah: 3,100 km2 liberated, our campaign continuing

Hawar news agency (ANHA) held an interview with official spokesman for al-Jazeera Tempest campaign said that the next objective of their forces is to liberate al-Shafa town, Hajin, Abo Al-Kater, Abo Al-Hassan and Al-Sosa.

Al-Jazeera Tempest campaign to liberate the eastern countryside of Deir –ez-Zor city continued until the liberation of the rest of the city's desert, to secure the border between Syria and Iraq and the defeat of mercenaries

Lailwa pointed, "Our forces liberated an area of 3,100 km2 to complete the liberation of the desert from three axes Mercada axis, al-Shadadi axis and al-Holl axis). In that area, 50 villages and farms were liberated and a large number of weapons were seized."

During the liberation of these villages, hundreds of civilians were freed and rescued from oppression of IS mercenaries by opening of safe corridors, where Daesh mercenaries used them as human shields to slow the campaign.

As for the coordination between Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Iraqi army, Lailwa said, "Coordination between us and the Iraqi forces is so deep as to establish an operational room on the Iraqi-Syrian border to coordinate and secure the border from IS mercenaries supported by aerial coverage of the International Coalition.

She added, “After the liberation of the desert of al-Dashisha, our forces would be directed to areas under the control of IS mercenaries, to liberate them, such as al-Shafa, Hajin, Abo al-Kater, Abo al-Hassan and Al-Sosa towns.

Lailwa concluded her speech saying, "We assure our people that we have not handed over the lands liberated by the efforts of our fighters and the pure blood of our martyrs. We affirm that the political solution could not be reached without intra-Syrian national dialogue and under international auspices."
