Muslim : July 19th Revolution to create decentralized, democratic Syria

The activities of the July 19th Revolution celebration was held in Kobanî city under the slogan, "In the spirit of the sixth anniversary of the revolution of July 19th, we salute the Resistance of the Age" by a speech delivered by Anwar Muslim, the member of the Euphrates region’s management coordination.

In his speech, Muslim pointed out that the revolution faced many dangers and won them in order to build up high levels of civilizational struggle, and that the revolution of Rojava became a goal for all the forces that believe in revolution, freedom and democracy.

Muslim stressed that the strong and effective involvement of the people in the revolution was the main pillar in the development of the revolution and its arrival at advanced stages in Rojava and northern Syria.

He pointed out that the enemies of the revolution of freedom and dignity have attacked them since its inception, and tried by various means to abort it, but the determination of the people and their will to continue the struggle emptied those schemes of their content.

In a reference to the steps taken by the revolution, Muslim stressed that it has made great steps at the political and diplomatic levels by forming the Syrian Democratic Council which is proposing solutions to the Syrian crisis and launching serious national dialogues in order to come up with a comprehensive national project that will lead to a new solution to the crisis.

He denied the conclusion of any direct negotiations with the Syrian regime, stressing that they remain committed to the need to find a political solution to build a pluralistic, democratic and decentralized Syria.

The celebration continues by performing musical and folkloric songs and dances, as the Martyr Guevara Band presented its performance after Anwar Muslim delivered his speech.
