Resistance Citadel commemorated revolution’s martyrs

Hundreds of Kobanî canton people, the fighters of the People and Women Protection Units (YPG, YPJ), Self-Defense Duty, Asayîş Forces, the martyrs’ families and the members of the civil institutions and political parties attended the ceremony.

The ceremony started with a military parade performed by the fighters of YPG, YPJ, Self-Defense Duty and Asayîş Forces in coincidence with standing the participants a minute of silence. Then, a speech was delivered on behalf of YPG by the commander Haqqi Kobanî as he commemorated the martyrs of the July 19th Revolution and said, “The July 19th Revolution is the revolution of the peoples. It achieved great gains at all domains. The sparks of the revolution started from Kobanî, and spread all over Rojava areas. One of achievements of this revolution is the establishment of the Syrian Democratic Forces that daily achieve great victories.”    

After that, the people torched candles on the martyrs’ graves.

Furthermore, the ceremonies ended with chanting the slogans that immortalize the martyrs.
