Turkey's mercenaries burnt more than 3,000 trees in Afrin

The Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries continue their violations in Afrin canton. In addition to kidnapping, killing and looting operations, the mercenaries incinerate the forest and agricultural lands, olives, pomegranates and grapes trees in Afrin. More than 3,000 trees have been burned in the past two days.

A source from Rajo area of Afrin canton told ANHA correspondent that the Turkish army’s mercenaries burned forest trees in al-Nishama Valley (Guli Terra) whose space is about 2 hectares, and located on the road leading to Rajo area.

The source noted that in addition to that, the mercenaries set fire to about 2,600 olives, pomegranates and grapes trees in the agricultural lands belonging to the residents of Adamu village of Rajo area, located on the main road leading to Medan Akbes village. The source confirmed that the mercenaries, in addition to burning trees, burned 800 meters of agricultural irrigation hoses.

The mercenaries of Faileq al-Sham also burned a few days ago two houses belonging to the citizens Muhammad Jafar Muhammad, located on the western side of the village and Hassen Tubal Saleh in the center of the village who have been displaced from their village earlier.

In addition, fire was set to the agricultural lands extended 4 km from the west of Atmanah village in Rajo area, including oak and olives trees. Furthermore, the fire has been still burning in this area until today.
