Al-Gharbi Neighborhood Council in Qamişlo city held a meeting to discuss the problems that the residents suffer from.

QAMIŞLO

In order to discuss the social problems, Al-Gharbi Neighborhood Council in Qamişlo city held a meeting for the people. The meeting was held at Mohammed Sheikho Center for Culture and Art in the presence of hundreds of members of the institutions of water, electricity, al-Gharbi neighborhood municipality and the traffic.

The meeting started with holding a minute of silence in tribute for the martyrs' souls, after which the co-chair of Qamişlo canton Hassen Mohamed said that the aim of the meeting is to listen to the problems of the people and discuss them together to find suitable solutions.

Hassen Mohamed talked about the recent allegations that have been spread recently about the reasons of removing the pictures of the martyrs and the Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan from the streets and said, "Some allegations have recently spread that there was an agreement between the Autonomous Administration and the Syrian regime including the removal of the pictures of the martyrs and the pictures of the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan. These allegations are not true and the matter does not concern politics. Removing the flags, pictures and symbols is the work of the municipality and the goal is to preserve the pictures of the martyrs."

Hassen Mohammed called on the people not to be dragged behind the false allegations.

The residents of Qanat al-Suwais neighborhood in Qamişlo city supposed the problem of water shortage in the neighborhood to discuss it, and talked about the negative effects of water shortage, and asked the council to solve the problem as soon as possible.

For its part, the council registered all the problems experienced by the people, and pledged to find solutions to them as soon as possible.
