YPG revealed military operations’ outcome in Afrin

YPG's media center published on its official website a statement to the public opinion revealing the outcome of the military operations carried out against the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries in Afrin.

YPG's statement included:

“In the framework of the 2nd stage of Resistance of the Age and during the last days of June and early July, our units carried out a series of military operations against the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries in a number of villages, as follows:

- On June 30, our units ambushed a group of the Turkish occupation soldiers and Faileq al-Sham mercenaries on the road linked between Afrin city and Mobata district, as direct clashes broke out between our fighters and the mercenaries. The clashes resulted in killing a Turkish soldier and wounding a mercenary of Faileq al-Sham.

- On July1, our units attacked the headquarters of the Turkish occupation and Faileq al-Sham mercenaries in the area between Mariamin and Malikiya villages related to Shera district, as 4 mercenaries were killed and 3 others were seriously wounded.

- On July 2, at 12:30 pm, our units blasted an explosive device at a patrol of the Turkish occupation in al-Mahmudiya neighborhood, as 3 Turkish soldiers were killed and 2 others got injured.

- On the same day, our units carried out a sniper operation targeting one of al-Hemzat Division mercenaries who immediately killed.

- On July 3, after an accurate consideration, our units planted an explosive device at one of the headquarters of Ahrar al-Sharqiya mercenaries and then blasted it. During the operation, 2 mercenaries from the faction were killed.

Thus, the number of killed soldiers of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries increased to 2,502 since 20/01/2018.
