Twin explosions at mercenaries’ in Afrin, some killed

One of the headquarters of the Turkish occupation’s mercenaries in Afrin city was exposed at 12:35 this afternoon to two explosions, and some local sources said that the explosions killed a number of mercenary elements and a number of civilians passing by the site of the explosions.

A local source in Afrin city (A H) said that two explosions occurred at 12:35 pm today at the headquarters of al-Jabhit al-Shamyia mercenaries near Kawa roundabout in Afrin.

The sources said that the explosions were caused by two explosive devices, while other sources said that they were caused by two car blast, and because of the encirclement of the place by mercenaries, the cause of the explosion was not identified, while a number of mercenaries were killed, in addition to a number of civilians passing the scene, the exact number was not identified because mercenaries encircled the scene and the building was severely damaged.

It is worth mentioning that the area extending from the Kawa roundabout to the industrial and Souq al-Hall vegetable market is witnessing fierce clashes between al-Jabhit al-Shamiya mercenaries and al-Mutasim Brigade as a result of their disputes over the loot of the industrial plants and pressed olive residues’ factories that they stole from vicinity of Rajo-Afrin road this month.
