Al-Tabqa Hospital is about to open general surgery department
The Directorate of the National Hospital in al-Tabqa city near the opening of the Department of General Surgery in light of lack of support provided to open the other department.

The surgical department consists of two parts, one operating room and the other sterilization room.
The operating room contains several devices, such as an anesthesia device, a sterilization device and another device to stop bleeding during surgery.
The General Surgery Department specializes in emergency operations, general surgery, ophthalmology, my appendix, Hernias, and other similar operations.
The operation room is supposed to open in a matter of days, said the co-chair of the Health Committee in al-Tabqa Obeid Muslim.
On the delay of the rehabilitation of al-Tabqa National Hospital, Muslim pointed out that the theft and looting of hospital equipment by IS mercenaries on the one hand and weak capacity and lack of support from medical organizations on the other was the main reason for the delay in the entry of the hospital on the service line.
It is worth mentioning that the Health Committee opened the hospital after fully logistical processing earlier and declared its urgent need for medical rehabilitation and equipped with all the necessary tools and medicines to ensure the continuation of work and serve the citizen.
