Al-Raqqa People’s municipality received new machineries

The central people's municipality in al-Raqqa received a new batch of heavy machineries provided by the International Coalition. This batch is considered the fifth batch of its kind within a work outline that aims at improving the service reality in al-Raqqa city.

The International Coalition provided a batch of machineries to the people’s municipality in al-Raqqa to work on cleaning the city of rubbish and rubble from the primary and secondary roads.

In this regard, ANHA agency held an interview with the co-chair of people’s municipality in al-Raqqa city Ahmed al-Ibrahim who noted that they have received new bath of machineries which included 16 machineries.

Ahmed al-Ibrahim noted that they divided the city into 26 sectors to ease the work in the city which suffered a lot from IS mercenaries’ remnants.

Al-Ibrahim noted that in the next few days, the city of al-Raqqa will witness a great movement in terms of opening the roads and lifting the rubble from most of the city's streets, as well as working with the Reconstruction Committee and the Environment and Parks Committee to restore the beautiful scenery to al-Raqqa city.
