1st step to restore green color to Ain Issa

The people’s municipality in Ain Issa launched a campaign to clean the parks paving the way to replant the trees, and 35 male and female workers participated in this campaign.

On Thursday, the services committee of the people’s municipality in Ain Issa district in Girê Spî canton launched a campaign to clean Ain Issa's parks especially because the district has a desert nature and it is free of trees, and the agriculture there is limited to rain-fed agriculture only with the exception of the eastern countryside.

The district has 4 parks but it is free of trees in the result of sabotage practices that were inflicted to it during the control of IS mercenaries.

The people’s municipality appointed 35 male and female workers to carry out the works of cleaning and planting trees which are supposed to start after the end of Ramadan.

Khadra Abboud, the co-chair of the Services Committee in the municipality said, "We want to restore to the district the green color that has been lost for years, and we are responsible for the task of taking care of the parks and insuring water for the trees."
