Ocalan's ideas are greater than staying behind bars

The Arab component in Rojava and North Syria cities and areas demanded the freedom of the Kurdish people's leader, Abdullah Ocalan, not because he is a Kurdish revolutionary leader, but because they found in his ideas what promotes the culture of coexistence among peoples.

Ocalan's name is almost inextricably linked to the concept of democratic nation, embodied in the form of a shared life and peaceful coexistence between the components of the area over the years of Rojava and North Syria's revolution.

This is what was expressed by a number of people from the Tel Koçer area who demanded the freedom of Ocalan.

'The thinker of the democratic nation, which gave women freedom'

Samira Ramadan, a woman from the Tel Koçer district, when she mention the name of Ocalan, she described as "the democratic nation's thinker who gave women freedom" because Ocalan’s case is not just the story of a revolutionary leader fighting for his people, but says that "leader Ocalan planted in the peoples the democracy approach and peoples' brotherhood, and gave women their right and role in all of life aspects, thanks to him we have reached this stage."

 “We are concerned about the health and safety of Ocalan, and we call on the Turkish fascist government to disclose his health status." As Arab women, we demand the Turkish fascist government the release the leader as soon as possible, "said Samira Ramadan, who denounced the isolation imposed by the Turkish occupation state against Ocalan in prison.

'The leader's ideas are greater than to remain behind bars”

Saleh al-Kano saw that Ocalan's ideas and views on the freedom of peoples and societies are greater than remaining within the prison limits, and that these ideas spread throughout the world because they represent the salvation of peoples from injustice.

"What Ocalan is subjected to is a crime against the whole humanity” where he held the humanitarian organizations responsible for as they are acting with double standards," Anyone who does not stand against Turkish state’s practices against Ocalan is a participant in this crime, Kano said

He called on international organizations and the international community to intervene to break the isolation of the Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan.
