The child Mohammed al-Hussein suffers from cerebral palsy since childhood. He is considered the second disabled person in the family with his helpless father. The mother is given the care of the family, which in turn is unable to provide the family with the necessary requirements for not having a job opportunity after leaving their homes.

Refugees’ suffering is increasing day by day in Ain Issa camp who have been forced to leave their homes due to the wars erupted in their areas that forced them to leave their homes, searching for safe shelter.

Hundreds of Deir-ez Zor families were forced to leave their homes due to battels and brutal practice of the Baathist regime, where Abdullah al-Khalil from al-Tabni town located on Euphrates river headed toward Ain Issa camp, searching for safe shelter.

Al-Khalil's family consists of 10 people (6 brothers and 2 sisters) in addition to the father and mother. The children are all married and each of them lives in a place other than the mother, father and youngest son Muhammad.

Mohammed, now 16 years old, suffers from cerebral palsy since he was five years old due to his body temperature, which led to his growth being stopped.

Mohammed is the third person in his family with a special need after his married brother Ibrahim, who lives with his family, and his father Abdullah al-Khalil, 60, who was injured while he was working in construction. He fell from the roof of a building he had been working in Lebanon for five years causing him paralyzing permanently. In addition, it prevents him from moving.

The only breadwinner for the family is the mother of 50-year-old Warda al-Khalil, who is working to take care of her disabled family members.

She complains about the poor financial status of her family, who has been living in the camp for 10 months. She has only the tent to house them, and their livelihood is limited to food baskets provided by the organizations.

Warda says she worked in agriculture with the women of the region while they were in their home in al-Tabni town in Deir –ez-Zor city , but since their displacement she could no longer work because of the lack of job opportunities that fit her.

They point out that they have only the assistance of the humanitarian organizations and the camp administration, she adds "I want to buy a wheelchair for my son and husband to make it easier for me to transport them, but I do not have the money."

Warda appealed to humanitarian organizations to help them in the difficult humanitarian situation they are experiencing after being stranded in their homes.
