Meeting between International Coalition's delegation , MMC's commanders

The Media Center of (MMC) said that the meeting was held between the two parties in the headquarters of Manbij Military Council. The delegation was received by Mohammed Mustafa (Abu Adel), the commander of Manbij Military Council, and Sharvan Darwish, the official spokesman of Manbij Military Council, and Ibrahim Benawi, deputy commander of Manbij Military Council and members of the council leadership.

The visiting coalition delegation included William Warbick, the US State Department's Special Envoy and(Eric) the Special Forces Special Envoy in the International Coalition, accompanied by General Jimmy Gerrard.

In a meeting held between the two sides, the two sides discussed the mechanism of joint coordination and means of enhancing cooperation and joint action to protect the city and maintain stability in the region, namely the survival of the coalition forces in Manbij in cooperation with the Manbij Military Council and the continuous work to ensure stability and maintain security in all areas liberated from the hands of IS. General Jimmy also stressed joint action to reach a political settlement in Syria that would satisfy all parties.

Similarly, General Jimmy listened to a detailed explanation of the situation in Manbij from a military and security perspective and measures taken to maintain civil peace and defend the city against all possible risks by the commanders of Manbij Military Council.
