Uncle Taher .... popular resistance story in Sheikh Maksoud

Uncle Taher Juha, the father of Abo Yusuf, the father of four boys, an Arab component of the origins of Adlib, he said, has been in Sheikh Maksoud neighborhood for decades.

Uncle Taher lived in the neighborhood of Sheikh Maksoud for nearly 40 years and bought a house from the sweat of his forehead to serve as a shelter for him and his family through his work in the field of cooking and sweets. He also traveled to many countries such as France, Italy, Greece, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, the Gulf States and Lebanon.

During the civil war that broke out in Lebanon between 1974 and 1976, while Tahr was working in Lebanon, he was arrested by the Lebanese battalions at the time and beaten, only because he was a Syrian, and described him as "miraculously survived".

Uncle Taher returned to Syria to be taken to Syria by the Syrian authorities after he was underdeveloped. He went back to Lebanon as a Syrian military and witnessed the civil war that broke out there.

His experiences in wars made him stay at home and resist him

Uncle Taher's house is located in the far east of Sheikh Maksoud neighborhood. His house is separated from the nearest point in the Bustan al-Basha district, which was under the control of mercenaries, about 100 meters away.

During the attacks on Sheikh Maksoud neighborhood, mercenaries  were able to penetrate and reach his street to displace all his neighbors and relatives. He remained alone in the house, attested to repeated robberies and the destruction of public and private property for unrealistic reasons.

Bakur loved the people and worked to protect him

And added "The mercenaries remained stationed in our street for a week, and the process of liberating our region was started by People Protection Units (YPG) said Uncle Taher. "Then the comrade leader Bakur and his comrades came and saved us from that darkness."

He described Uncle Tahir on the day of the return to People Protection Units (YPG)  and liberate them on the Day of Salvation and said, "As if a sad story ended with the joy of its hero martyr Bakur."

Tahir stressed that the fighters of People Protection Units (YPG) have fulfilled all their requirements, from eating and drinking to water and electricity, and showed the true meaning of freedom by allowing for discussion and opinion alongside good morals, saying, "Their morals dazzled me."

"He did not know how to speak Arabic, but I understood him from his smile. He was an advocate and insisted on reaching his goals. He  loves  the people and the people love him and he  martyred a defense. "I did not cry over my father's funeral, just as I did on Bakour's martyred ."

Teach me humanity by helping others

Uncle Taher worked to rescue the wounded who were injured as a result of the repeated attacks by mercenaries on the neighborhood, especially the wounded, who were injured by the sniper's weapon. He pulled them by means of a tool he made himself, which is a long iron skewer on his side. The way saved the lives of dozens of people.

Snipers 'smercenaries and the siege made him live on land

The mercenaries closed all the roads leading from the market to his home, and after learning the principle of self-sufficiency and creating the will of the fighter Bakur, applied it practically, where he planted in the plot of the types of vegetables, Securing vegetables that have been filled with daily needs, besides planting ornamental plants.

Uncle Taher said that the martyr Bakur costs all the expenses of watering it as a step to help and encourage continuation.

The disease got him to grieve on Afrin and killed her children

With the beginning of the attacks of the Turkish occupation army and his mercenaries on Afrin, Uncle Taher suffered from a lack of ischemia (a stroke) as a result of his grief after seeing a video clip on one of the television channels shows a woman with her children displaced in the wild and their condition is deplorable.

And described" I have lived with the Kurdish people for many years, and the martyr Bakur is a good example of the people of the Kurdish people. When I see a peaceful people exposed to injustice, I must grieve. When I see children and women displaced and others being martyred, either by missiles or by air, I was forced to open my eyes in the hospital with my grief on the children of Afrin."

He ended his speech by appealing to all the Syrian people to unite against the Turkish occupation to return it and return ancestral lands and civilizations.

It is noteworthy that the martyr Bakur grew up within the national family of Sulaymaniyah in Basur "south of Kurdistan" and a brother of tow martyred within the ranks of the Kurdistan Freedom Movement. He joined the ranks of the movement and took part in the revolution of Rojava and martyred in resistance neighborhood Sheikh Maksoud.
