Responding to Turkish’ violation on martyrs’: our martyrs live in our hearts

"True, they removed corpses of our children, but to know that we buried our martyrs in our hearts, and their thoughts live in our minds." With these words, the families of Resistance of Age's martyrs responded to the attacks of the Turkish occupation state on the martyrs' shrines in Afrin. After the entry of the Turkish occupation state to Afrin and its occupation on 18 March, it began the destruction of the holy sites for Afrin people , and among these holy places the shrine of Martyr Rafik, Shrine, the martyr Avesta Khabor, shrine martyr Sido, according to the latest information and scenes from Afrin, Turkish occupation's gangs  destroyed the shrine of Martyr Sido in Janders  area.

The families of Resistance of Age's martyrs and the martyrs of the revolution of Rojava took a firm stand against the attacks of the Turkish state on the martyrs' shrines and explained that the practices of the Turkish state have exceeded the level of humanity.

"The graves of all martyrs are graves for our children"

Jihan Kalo, a martyr 's mother who martyred in Resistance of Age and buried her body in the tomb of the martyr Avesta Khabor said “The Turkish state looted and sabotaged houses and property of the people, and killed the people and their last practice was to target and destroy the martyrs' shrine "These practices exist only in the mind of Islamic State's gangs (IS) who was created by the Turkish state," she said. "We had a single wish: one day we could visit the graves of our children, but they attacked them and this indicates the extent of their fear even of the bodies of martyrs and their images.” Jihan called "You do not think that if you destroy the graves of our children, you will be able to break our will and destroy us. The graves of all the martyrs are the graves of our children. The ideology of the martyrs live in our minds and we will continue on their path."

"We hid our children in our hearts"

The martyr's mother Avista Kasri, Suad Suleiman, indicated that she still does not know the whereabouts of her daughter's body. "The Turkish state is targeting the graves of our children to torture us because they are aware of their sanctity for us," Suad said, "but these attacks are breaking our hearts, but let Turkey know that it may have been able to keep us away from the bodies of our children, but our martyrs are hid deep in our hearts and will not give up their cause for which they fought because they sacrificed their lives for the sake of their land and their homeland. "

"Turkish state cannot withstand the resistance"

Ali Omar father of martyr Diyar Qamishlu, pointed out that this is not the first time that the Turkish state attacked the martyrs' shrines. It also targeted the sites in Bakur because the occupied Turkish state does not accept the presence and resistance of the Kurds. Ali said that the Turkish state wants the Kurds to be slaves like its Kurds, he continued: "Any Kurd demanding their rights like any person is considered by the Turkish state as an enemy ... Turkey is attacking the graves now, who will take revenge on this work?" Our children sacrificed their lives for freedom. To walk on their path to the end.”
