According to a correspondent of Hawar news agency from Kobanî, after the Turkish occupation army shelled Ashmeh and Qaran villages in the western outskirts of Kobanî city, the Self-Defense Duty Forces and People and Woman Protection Units intervened to defend the people of the two villages, and clashes erupted between the two sides with light and medium weapons that lasted for less than an hour.

According to the information obtained, at least, one Turkish soldier was killed in the clashes.

After that, the clashes have stopped, and the area is witnessing a cautious calm.
