Family tells details of massacre of Mahmudiya neighborhood

Hamada Othman Ibrahim from Kamrouk village belonging to Midanki district in Afrin canton  went with his family to the Afrin center at their daughter.

His son and his daughter's husband were  martyred and other members of his family were severely injured during the Turkish occupation army's shelling of the Mahmudiyah neighborhood.

At the beginning, Hamada recounted the story of their departure from Afrin and how they were targeted by the Turkish occupation. "After the shelling of our village, Kamrouk, we went towards the Afrin Center in Mahmudiya  neighberhood The shelling on the neighborhood also increased on March 16 last month on the day of the Halabja massacre. The shells fell next to our house. We went out to take shelter in one of the shelters in the neighborhood. As we were leaving, a shell fell next to us. At the time, Abdel Rahman and my daughter Amin Rashid were martyred. The rest of my family were seriously wounded.

"My daughter," 'Arifah Ibrahim, was wounded in her eighth month. As a result of the injury, she also lost her fetus. She is now in a hospital in Aleppo and is still being treated. My daughter Amina was hit in the hand and Kulstan was injured in the left foot. But there were no medicines for treatment. "

Hamada was also not survived from the shelling.

"I did not remember the exact number of casualties. The street was full of bodies and the blood was flowing in the street.
