This came in a statement issued by the media center of the Internal Security Forces in Manbij, and it was published on their official website.

The statement included:

"On Monday night at 11:00, terrorists targeted the vehicle of the responsible for the patrols in Manbij city Abu Jabal while he was making a tour of the checkpoints.

We also show that all the comrades who were inside the car are in good condition after being taken to the hospital, and received a medical treatment and assistance.

We in the Internal Security Forces in Manbij pledge to the peoples of the area that we will preserve the gains of the components of the area; Arabs, Kurds, Syriacs, Circassians and Turkmen, and we renew the covenant to follow the footsteps of our martyrs; the martyrs of freedom and dignity."
