The Finance Committee in Democratic Civil Administration of al-Tabqa area and through the garage and machineries department continues to work on the preparation of asphalt yard.

After liberating al-Tabqa city from IS gangs by Syrian Democratic Forces' fighters and through" Wrath of Euphrates" campaign  which headed towards eastern al-Tabqa countryside, IS gangs existing in "asphalt yards", took , loot and steal all equipment destroying all machineries they were unable to transport.

For nearly two months, the Finance Committee’s machineries and garage department has continued to make further efforts to rehabilitate the main asphalt yard and the rock breaker within the possibilities available for its restoration.

After feeding the crusher and installing the main circuit breakers, the breaker maintenance and installation of the electronic control panels was done immediately instead of being destroyed by IS gangs.

The Crusher works to break up the large rocks and convert them into three sizes using sieves of varying sizesز

After several successful takeoff tests to ensure the readiness of the Crusher is expected to be ready to enter the service during the next month and a production capacity of more than 800 meters per day.

As for the "main asphalt yard" located in Abo Qubia village  located 35 km east of al-Tabqa , the mechanical and electronic workshops continue to maintain the machineries and equipment that were sabotaged in lately by IS gangs and is currently working on the processing of the main engines and "drilling asphalt," which is stored the asphalt after exposure to burning.

In its turn, the Machineries Department in general garage is currently working on the installation of two rollers and asphalt machinery to be ready upon completion of work in asphalt yard.
