Massive march launched in center Manbij denounce of Turkish occupation

A while ago, massive march has been launched by thousands of Syrians who came from different parts of North Syria in the center of Manbij city in response to Turkish threats to occupy the city.

After Turkish occupation army’s threats to occupy Manbij city and its countryside, tens of thousands of Syrians took to Seba Bahrat roundabout on Thursday to protest against the occupation Afrin canton.

In addition to Manbij city and its countryside, the population of the areas of al- Raqqa and its countryside, al-Tabqa, Kobani canton, Girê Sipî(Tel –Abyed), al-Jazeera region’s cities, and Deir-ez Zor countryside.

Political figures from several Syrian parties in North Syria administrators of local councils and civic institutions, and a noticeable presence of hundreds of fighters from the Manbij Military Council and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) were also observed.

In addition, units of the Internal Security Forces and the Community Protection Forces were present to maintain security during the demonstration.

The demonstration is scheduled to reach the public arena and start its activities by giving speeches.
