The campaign was launched under supervision of al-Tabqa Council on 19 March.

About a week ago, a batch of aid donated by al-Tabqa people was sent to Afrin region northwest and included food and medical aid, mattresses and cash.

The Turkish occupation army and its gangs have been attacking Afrin since 20 January, killing more than 260 civilians, injuring more than 700 others and displacing more than 200,000 civilians, not to mention the theft, rape and Turkification currently taking place in Afrin by the Turkish occupation army and mercenary gangs.

The Co–chair of al-Tabqa Council Aloush al-Ayed "We collected supplies, baby milk and clothes and sent the first batch to our people in Afrin, the goal is a moral boost to Afrin people who were attacked by the Turkish occupation army and its gangs."
