Turkey caused few hours of water pumping in al-Tabqa's rural

Al-Swediah station is pumping irrigation water for 12 hours from 12 pm to 12 noon. This has led to poor access to irrigation water for the northern parts of the al-Swediah project, which is about 25 km from pumping station.

According to the management of al-Swediah pump, the rationing of water pumping hours is due to a decrease in the level of Euphrates River, which Turkey is building dams in the areas under its control, and is holding water in the continuation of its anti-Syrian approach.

Farmer Mohammad al-Badah confirmed that the area is generally dependent on soft wheat cultivation. However, the destruction of irrigation plant led to the delay of planting wheat, which must be during the month of November. The farmers limited their land cultivation to lentil and "piquia" this is what the farmers Ghazal al-Mousa, Hussein al-Ibrahim and Ahmad al-Salem.

The farmers thanked the efforts of Agriculture Directorate of Democratic Civil Administration of al-Tabqa to rehabilitate al-Swediah irrigation plant but at the same time complained about the lack of water pumping hours behind which Turkey stands.
