Amid the security chaos and instability in areas under Damascus's control, at least one person, including women and children, was killed in the past 24 hours, according to statistics from the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The Observatory confirmed that two young men were killed after being shot by unknown gunmen in the village of Yahmur in the Tartous countryside. A woman was shot dead during a quarrel between citizens, which escalated into the use of weapons in the village of Masaken Jleen in the western Daraa countryside. Three members of the same family, are father, mother, and their minor son—were killed by unknown gunmen in the village of Ain al-Arus in the Latakia countryside. The body of a resident of the Wadi al-Dahab neighborhood was found during a search at al-Waer Hospital in Homs, bearing traces of gunshot wounds.

As a result of the explosion of UXOs, a young man was killed in the village of Rasm al-Faleh in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, while a man and his 12-year-old daughter were killed in the Duwaizin area in the eastern countryside of Hama. A child was also killed in the city of Khan Shaykhun in the southern countryside of Idlib, in addition to three people killed in the city of Salamiyah in the eastern countryside of Hama, the village of Ain al-Ashra in the eastern countryside of Latakia, and the village of Tanb south of the city of Azaz in the Aleppo countryside
