14 IDP families received in Tal Tamr as aid continues in Al-Hol

The Tal Tamr City Council in the Jazera Canton has received 14 forcibly displaced families from Afrin and Shahba, which were occupied by Turkey and its mercenaries, while residents of Al-Hol continue to provide support to the forcibly displaced through a support tent set up in the town.

The influx of forcibly displaced families from Afrin and Shahba, due to attacks by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, continues, while support for these families remains ongoing.

In this context, the Tal Tamr City Council in the Jazera Canton received 14 forcibly displaced families this morning and settled them in homes in the village of Tal Balua, located north of the city.

Preparing Homes and Receiving Families

The Tal Tamr City Council prepared homes in the Assyrian village of Tal Balua, which had been completely vacant since its residents were displaced in 2015 following attacks by ISIS mercenaries.

Preparations included supplying homes with electricity, providing essential furniture, and offering clothing for children.

Healthcare Support

As part of efforts to support forcibly displaced families, a team from the Union of Doctors in the Jazera Canton visited the village, conducted medical check-ups for the elderly and children, and provided necessary medication for those with chronic illnesses.

Continued Support for the IDPs

In the town of Al-Hol in the Jazera Canton, the support tent continues to receive humanitarian aid provided by residents to meet the basic needs of the forcibly displaced.

The residents of Al-Hol are demonstrating strong solidarity by offering continuous support around the clock, in collaboration with communes and members of the Autonomous Administration institutions.
