During May, explosive remnants of war in Syria killed 52 civilians, including 23 children and two women, and injured 70 others, including 27 children, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

In areas controlled by the Damascus government, 34 civilians were killed, including 13 children and a woman, and 48 others were injured, including 18 children.

In the Cantons of North and East Syria, nine people were killed, including five children and a woman, and 16 others were injured, including eight children and two women.

In areas controlled by the Turkish occupation's mercenaries, the "National Army," nine people were killed, including five children, and six others were injured, including a girl.

These figures indicate the continued threat posed by explosive remnants of war to civilians, especially children, across Syria.
