12 mercenaries killed, 25 others injured, including 3 Turkish occupation soldiers

The SDF Media Center revealed the outcome of their military operations against the Turkish occupation within 24 hours.

The Syrian Democratic Forces reported the results of their response operations to Turkish occupation attacks and its mercenaries on January 30, 2025, stating:

“The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries continue their brutal aggression on the regions of North and East Syria. On Thursday, Turkish warplanes launched several airstrikes on the area around the Tishrin Dam, southeast of Manbij, while it was also targeted with heavy artillery.

In response to the attacks by the occupation and its mercenaries, our forces targeted a mercenary gathering south of Manbij, resulting in the death and injury of several mercenaries, though their exact numbers are unknown. Martyr Haroun Units also targeted a mercenary vehicle gathering, hitting /3/ military vehicles, including a Toyota, a jeep, and a van. Additionally, two mercenary gatherings were targeted, confirming the death of /4/ mercenaries, including two of Uzbek nationality, and the injury of /12/ more mercenaries.

On the Qereqozaqê Bridge front, in retaliation for the massacre committed by the Turkish occupation in Serrin, our fighters carried out a special operation targeting the Turkish occupation base “Al-Hoshriya,” where /3/ Turkish soldiers were injured, and an armored vehicle belonging to the occupation, a BMP type, was damaged. Additionally, /3/ mercenaries were injured and /2/ of their vehicles were hit.

In a second operation, our fighters targeted the “Qereqozaqê” hill and a mercenary checkpoint, injuring /5/ mercenaries. Meanwhile, Turkish warplanes carried out intensive airstrikes on the villages of “Tina, Ghesq, Melha, Bir Hasso,” as well as on the airport and silos of Serrin, south of Kobani, while heavy artillery and rocket fire targeted the villages of “Tina, Ja'da, Bir Hasso, Dikan, and Melha,” as well as the hills of “Sifi” and “Qereqozaqê,” south of Kobani. The airstrikes and artillery shelling caused material damage only.

On the Deir Hafar front, Turkish drones continued to hover over the region, carrying out four strikes on one of our checkpoints, which resulted in two of our fighters being slightly injured, and the martyrdom of one civilian. In response, our fighters conducted two operations against mercenary gatherings. In the first operation, /6/ mercenaries were killed, while in the second, /2/ mercenaries were killed, and /2/ others were injured. Additionally, /3/ motorcycles were destroyed.

The total number of mercenary casualties on the previous day was /12/ dead, including two mercenaries of Uzbek nationality, and /25/ injured, including /3/ Turkish soldiers. Furthermore, a Turkish armored vehicle of the BMP type and /5/ mercenary vehicles were hit, along with the destruction of /3/ motorcycles.”
