The Kongra Star continues to hung banners bearing the images of female martyrs from the Women's Protection Units (YPJ). On Sunday, a number of banners were displayed in the city of Tell Tamer, following a similar campaign the previous day in 10 key locations in Hasaka city.

This initiative comes within the April 26th events launched by the Joint Events Platform of Women's Movements and Organizations in Rojava under the slogan "We are all YPJ – YPJ represents us."

The banners were displayed at the southern and eastern entrances to Tell Tamer, as well as at Qandil Square, to highlight the role and sacrifices of YPJ fighters in protecting and defending the region.

The participants in the events confirmed their demand for official recognition of the YPJ as a regular force within the structure of the Syrian Ministry of Defense, rejecting any attempts to marginalize women's military or political role during the current phase.
