Yazidi House ends its sixth conference

The sixth conference of the Yazidi House in Jazera Canton, in the city of Hasaka in the NE Syria, concluded with the election of a new Co-chair.

HASAKA

This morning, the sixth conference of the Yazidi House in Jazera Canton began at the “Mar Bella” restaurant in the city of Hasaka, under the slogan “Survival and clinging to the land and the return of expatriates is our ultimate goal,” with the participation of 300 male and female delegates.

During the conference, Nalin Rasho and Ismail Dalf were elected as the new co-chair of the Yazidi House in Jazera Canton, and Jihan Khoury and Jalal Khader Haji were appointed as their new deputies.

The sixth conference of the Yazidi House in the Jazera Canton concluded its work by reading the final statement, read by a member of the Administrative Council of the Yazidi House in the Jazera Canton, Farouq Tozo.

The final statement included a number of proposals and goals to serve as an action plan for the Yazidi House, including:

1- Opening training courses for youth and children and giving lectures in the branches of the Yazidi House.

2- Establishing an artistic band in the Hasaka branch and paying attention to the previously existing teams and training and developing them.

3- Limiting the implementation of contracts for agricultural lands owned by expatriates to the Yazidi House in Jazera Canton, in accordance with the internal regulations.

4- Preventing the sale of agricultural lands and houses in Yazidi villages to non-Yazidis, to prevent demographic changes.

5- Full coordination with the Yazidi House and unions that fall under the umbrella of the Syrian Yazidi Union and not allowing the emergence of individual and regional tendencies that harm the unity of the Yazidi goal.
