Women in Raqqa demand to see Leader Abdullah Ocalan

 In the context of the expansion of the "I Want to Meet Abdullah Ocalan" campaign, launched by the European Freedom and Peace Platform (EFFP), the women described this demand as a "global call" that transcends affiliations and identities. They called for an end to the isolation imposed on Leader Abdullah Ocalan and the immediate realization of his physical freedom, especially after his appeal yesterday.

Dhikrayat al-Moussa, administrator of the Mashlab Committee of the Zenobia Women's Gathering Council, said: "We demand a meeting with Leader Abdullah Ocalan and his immediate release. His ongoing isolation for more than two decades represents an obstacle to any genuine political solution. Meeting with him is a legitimate right for the peoples of the region and a prerequisite for launching a comprehensive democratic political process."

For her part, Aisha Shawish, a member of the Abdullah Ocalan Academy for Social Sciences, explained that Leader Abdullah Ocalan represents a source of hope and a strategy for resolving the crises in the Middle East. She said, "His release is no longer an internal Turkish matter, but a humanitarian and political issue that concerns the entire region."

She added, "The leader has always called for an end to violence and the adoption of democratic solutions. Therefore, the demand to meet him and release him is not solely Kurdish, but a humanitarian call for a future free of war."

Sabah al-Khalil, a member of the same academy, also stated that international silence is responsible for the failure of dialogue attempts. She said, "Unless the leader is physically freed, no real political progress will be achieved. We demand his immediate release and the realization of his right to hope as a true guarantee for building peace."
